A Level Chemistry is a requirement for entry to many science degree courses as well as entry to Medical School. For those not studying full A Level Maths studying Maths up to AS level is recommended, or, alternatively taking a distance learning or tutorial based module covering mathematical calculations for A Level Chemistry. As with all new science A Levels the new A Level Chemistry syllabus is a demanding one.
A Level Chemistry places considerable emphasis on practical experimental work. If needed tuition can include practical work. However, because of overheads the fees for practical work oriented tutorial sessions will be higher than for straight teaching sessions.
